Cover Story: Whitman Takes on NYC

The Whitman School aims to inspire and prepare students for an ever-changing business world. For these reasons, each semester dedicated staff and faculty work closely with alumni, donors and industry partners to create and facilitate experiential programming that bridges the gap between classroom learning and practical application, all while expanding job placement opportunities and assisting students to build meaningful connections.

2019 Whitman Scholars

Each year, Whitman Scholars are chosen from the senior class through a competitive selection process. To be considered, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.65 and a demonstrated history of engagement and leadership at the Whitman School and Syracuse University.

Whitman in Asia: Associate Dean's Travels Cultivate Global Experiences for Students

Where in the world is Eunkyu Lee? That was the question in January, as Lee, the associate dean for global initiatives and professor of marketing at Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management, toured a number of cities throughout Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. It wasn’t a vacation, however. It was an opportunity for Lee to explore partnerships that will allow greater global learning for Whitman students in some of the key business centers and most booming economies in the world.
