Kanique Swinson is proud to be from the South-where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter. She followed her dreams to go to college in New York. At Syracuse she is currently pursuing a double majoring in Marketing Management and Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises. At Whitman she hopes to gain the skills needed to eventually open her own record label. In the meantime her goal is to become a respected and established music marketer in the entertainment industry.

Never missing a basketball game is just one way Kanique shows how she bleeds Orange. On campus she is a resident advisor to first year students and loves guiding her fellow Orangemen around campus and through their college experience. She also is an ambassador to the Student Philanthropy Council and co-chairs the entertainment committee for Relay for Life.  This coming fall she will take her love of Orange across the pond with SU Abroad in London, England.

Aside from her studies and organizations Kanique likes playing the piano, singing, numerology, and giving back to the community. ​ Kanique is one of the amazing students of Whitman and should to be watched in the future to see what all she can conquer and accomplish.
