Three new staff members joined the Whitman School this past month.
Bev Everding has joined the Whitman Leadership Team as the director of administration. She joins Whitman after several years in the Office of Academic Affairs, most recently supporting Interim Vice Chancellor and Provost Liz Liddy, as well as Jeff Kaplan, former senior advisor to Chancellor Kent Syverud. She has 24 years of experience as a valued staff member at Syracuse University.
Kevin Coates is director of budget, finance and business analytics. He comes to Whitman from Cornell University where he was associate director of administration, a position responsible for analytics, financial metrics and reporting. Coates was instrumental in building a business intelligence team for Cornell’s alumni affiars and development office. He also has served in various financial roles, from reporting and analyzing data to creating budget and gap/forecasting models. He earned a bachelor of business administration from the State University of New York Institute of Technology in Utica, New York.
Emily Dillon is Whitman’s new undergraduate recruitment coordinator. She coordinates undergraduate recruitment activities and events, including event planning and implementation, welcoming and meeting with prospective students, assisting with recruitment promotion and managing the Visitors Center office. Dillon graduated from Buffalo State College and resides in Jordan, New York.
