Each semester, the EEE department selects senior and graduate level students to participate in the prestigious D’Aniello Entrepreneurial Internship Program, an internationally recognized initiative that provides unique entrepreneurial opportunities for highly qualified candidates.
D’Aniello interns work directly with an entrepreneur, president or senior executive in a high-growth, innovative company located in the greater-Syracuse metropolitan area, where they receive exciting, hands-on, experience-based learning opportunities in entrepreneurial work environments.
The fall 2018 semester interns included Michael Ceribelli ’20, Melissa Damis ’20, Jessica Mallinar ’19, Brian Meeks ’20 and Kristin Mascolo ’19. The spring 2019 interns included Alexandra Goodnough ’19, Caelan Houle ’19, Daniel McMurray G ’20, Charles Mournet ’19, Kevin O’Donnell ’20 and Sean O’Sullivan ’20.
Some of the businesses hosting students included Bey Designs, Anything But Beer, Liberty Post, Team Les Go, Maxian Horst Landscaping, North Side Learning Center, Recess Coffee, eLumination, Metta Therapeutic and the WISE Women’s Business Center.
During their internships, students worked on a wide variety of projects to develop skills in business development, marketing, social media planning, supply chain logistics and more.
The D’Aniello Entrepreneurial Internship program is supported by Daniel A. D’Aniello ’68, a Whitman alumnus and founding partner and managing director of The Carlyle Group.
