Major: Marketing Management
Minor: Sports Revenue Management and Operations

When I was in high school, I had a passion for marketing that came from my interest in both graphic design and business. Whitman has given me a lot of intellectually challenging classes and helped me discover valuable internships and volunteer experiences. I love the problem solving aspect of marketing that allows me to configure the puzzle of how to present a brand to a consumer. Ideally, I want to work in entertainment marketing—sports, music or television. I know there’s no such thing as a 9 to 5 job in entertainment marketing, so I’m searching for something that I’m passionate about—and I’m entirely up to the challenge! I’ve always been an athlete, and I was fortunate to get a great internship with the New Jersey State Golf Association. Eventually, I really want to work specifically in sports and become a decision maker, determine where the money is spent and lead by example, whether it be for a sports team, a sports league or a sports network. I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of the Whitman family. Alumni have been so gracious with their time, conversations, advice and encouragement. My internships, advisors, alumni connections and others have helped me make connections, stay positive in my job search and continue to persevere.
