Hey everyone! My name is Byron Delarosa, and I am a sophomore accounting major and economics minor. As it comes close to the end of the semester of my sophomore year, I decided to look back and evaluate my last four semesters here at Syracuse University and the Whitman School of Management. It has been an amazing journey thus far, and an essential part to my happiness at college is the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi (DSP). I always wanted to join DSP since the first day of freshman year, however I was skeptical due to time commitment reasons. Thankfully I had it in me to make time for it and now, being a member of this organization for two semesters, I can truly say that joining DSP was the best decision I have made so far at college. The guest speakers, the networking opportunities, the brotherhood feel, there are so many perks to being a brother. I have met some of my best friends through the organization and I am sure I will meet many more great people as the semesters progress. So word of advice for any business or economics majors out there, come out for DSP. You won’t regret it!
