Major: Marketing and Supply Chain Management
Minor: Psychology

I was a competitive ice skater growing up, and that taught me a lot about balancing hard work with doing what you love. That’s why, despite my double major and a lot of classwork, I’ve made sure to be involved in a number of organizations, including Balancing the Books through the Mary Ann Shaw Center for Public Community Service. Every Friday, I’ve gone there to teach financial literacy skills to middle school and high school students, and now I’m the site coordinator. I enjoy it so much! I’m honored by the awards and accolades I’ve won while at Whitman, but I’ve also realized that sometimes you have to relax and accept that your GPA or an award isn’t everything at the end of the day. For example, I’ve been a Whitman peer mentor to five freshman navigating their first year of college life, and that’s been significantly rewarding and puts things into perspective. As for a career, I’m torn because I love the logistics of supply chain. It’s something my dad does, and, being one of five children, it’s always kind of been my and my dad’s “thing.” But, I’m also really passionate about marketing and the idea of creating things. I want to be intellectually curious every day by finding something that I love and learning everything I can about it.
