With an undergraduate degree in statistics, Kruti believes an MBA with a specialization in marketing will direct her to a fruitful career in consumer analytics. Prior to attending the Whitman School, Kruti worked for KPMG India as an associate consultant and an analyst.
Kruti hand selected Whitman because out of all of the MBA options, she saw the strong marketing department and feels she supported both personally and professionally. According to Kruti, she has been thrilled with the choice she made.
“My classroom sessions at Whitman has been the most beneficial aspect of my education so far at Whitman,” explained Kruti. “It is not only the coursework but also the interactions with professors and fellow students that have made this an enriching and insightful experience.”
Although this is only Kruti’s second semester in Whitman, she hasn’t waited to get deeply involved. She is active in the Whitman Consulting Club and the Master Toast Club. She regularly attends meetings with the American Marketing Association and the Syracuse University Business Analytics Club. She also tutors student-athletes on campus.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Whitman so far and am looking forward to making some good memories over the time that I am left with.”
She is excited about the new doors her MBA is opening, and is still enthusiastically looking for internships for the summer of 2018.
