At the Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship at Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management, we believe that everyone deserves to climb the economic ladder to success. We are passionate about our purpose and committed to use entrepreneurship to develop Syracuse. Entrepreneurs access resources to develop their idea from the initial business concept to eventual launch. Business plan development, market research, due diligence, fundraising, financial literacy, legal aid, technical assistance and so much more are offered through the Falcone Center and its programs both on and off campus.
The Falcone Center hosts three accelerators: The Couri Hatchery, The South Side Innovation Center (SSIC) and the WISE Women’s Business Center. These accelerators aid entrepreneurial endeavors in underserved individuals and communities in Central New York. In the last year alone, the Couri Hatchery has helped over 100 students raise over $2.4 million in external capital. The SSIC worked with 27 resident clients and consulted with another 350. The WISE Women’s Business Center counseled 113 women businesses that grossed over $5.5 million in sales. Here’s the video that the Falcone Center submitted for a $50,000 award for a Small Business Association (SBA) Accelerator grant.
