What sets Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management real estate management students apart? Many students will graduate with training in ARGUS Enterprise.
Through the James D. Kuhn Real Estate Center, students are able to sign up for a one-day training to become certified in the ARGUS Enterprise. The ARGUS Developer Training Program aims to introduce Whitman’s real estate students (undergraduate and graduate, as well as those with a minor) to ARGUS Developer, a specialized real estate software for management of real estate development projects. The program is complimentary for students and concentrates on practical applications of the software through interactive examples and case studies.
The ARGUS Enterprise training program is designed for new-to-intermediate users of ARGUS Enterprise. Students learn how to input leases, market assumptions, valuation and yield parameters on a repetitive basis and generate pro forma cash-flows. The course concentrates on practical applications of the software through interactive examples and case studies.
What does that mean for future employers? The challenging certification program is recognized by the commercial real estate industry as a trusted standard. Whitman graduates will be equipped and ready to use the software in their careers.
