William Cass is a 2008 graduate of the Whitman School of Management and the Newhouse School of Public Communications. He came to Syracuse hoping to become the next Bob Costas but defected to Wall Street after graduation where he joined Needham & Company, a full-service investment bank serving emerging growth technology companies. He is now a vice president at Needham where he is responsible for originating and executing mergers and financings for public and private software companies. Cass remains connected to SU, serving as co-chair of the Metro New York Leadership Council and attending numerous speaking engagements each year. He graduated with degrees in finance and broadcast journalism, was a Stuart Frankel Scholar and a member of the Orange Value Fund.
