Amrita Mainthia, a native of California, graduated from Syracuse University in 2012 with a dual degree in marketing management from Whitman and journalism from the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Mainthia currently lives in Stamford, Connecticut, and works for GE Capital as a communications manager, helping build the company’s brand, protect the reputation and tell the story of GE Capital to its employees, investors, customers and the media. She assumed her current position after completing GE’s Communications
Leadership Development Program, which she began right after graduation.
