  1. Good day. It looks as though I am the first to comment, let me take this opportunity to wish all of you at the Whitman School excellent health and good fortune.

We move into 2020 with impaired vision. The virus that has caused disruptions in every aspect of our existence and has us rethinking how we reengage in our society. Remaining involved in business and business development in the manufacturing sector for my entire career, the challenges that the “new normal” will present should be a point of some great interest to the younger generation of business professionals. I look forward to the exchange.

I congratulate the School on this historic achievement and look to see the Whitman School continue to develop and groom the next generations of young women and men as global business leaders.

    1. Thank you so much, Dave. The “new normal” is heavy on our minds here at Whitman. Our students have shown adaptability and perseverance, and that will serve them well. If you might like to share your professional perspectives and insights you’ve gained throughout your career with our students, please reach out to me at ahkessle@syr.edu. We have a newly launched online alumni-student engagement and mentorship community. Connecting with and learning from alumni is invaluable for our students as they navigate their own path. Take care and be well!

    1. Thank you, Greg! So glad you could join us! If you would like to discuss ways you can engage with Whitman students, please let me know. Alumni sharing their time and experienced perspective is one of our school’s most valuable assets. Wishing you and your loved ones good health!
