Update Meeting of the SU Alumni of Westchester Fairfield – Thursday, May 11 at Peaches in Norwalk, CT: The group had a very successful kick-off event in Rye, New York, in April. If you could not make that event but would like to learn about events the group has planned over the next few months, including game watches, new student send-offs, National Orange Day, happy hours and networking meet-up opportunities in the Westchester Fairfield area, please plan to attend on May 11th. Washington, D.C. Alumni University – Art Series I Library of Congress Tour, May 16, 3:00-6:30 p.m., Library of Congress: Register today for this one-of-a-kind experience at the Library of Congress. Guests will participate in a private tour of the Library of Congress. Andrew Saluti ’99, G’09, Chief Curator of Exhibitions, Programs & Education at Special Collections Research Center, Syracuse University Libraries, will join the group and offer brief remarks at a reception immediately following the tour. Stories from Syracuse: D.C., May 24, 6:30-8:30 p.m., The Watergate Hotel: The Office of Alumni Engagement invites alumni, friends, donors and parents in the Washington, D.C. region to Stories from Syracuse. The event begins with a reception, followed by a program highlighting the One University initiative, presented through a relaxed conversation between Chancellor Syverud, John Wildhack ‘80, and Valerie Smith ’17. Whitman Alumni Club of CNY Golf Tournament: Hit the links for the 27th Annual Whitman Alumni Club of Central New York Golf Tournament at the beautiful Drumlins Golf Course on Monday, June 5.
The Whitman Alumni Club of NYC 2nd Annual Real Estate Breakfast Series Panel Event – Tuesday, June 6, 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the Mission Capital office (42 Madison Avenue, 25th Street and Madison). The accomplished alumni panel will include Hal Fetter ’83 of Fetter Properties, Mitchell L. Konsker ’83 of Jones Lang Lasalle and David Tobin ’91 of Mission Capital. The discussion will include information on current investment and leasing strategies, pricing trends on new developments, financing environment, and new projects in the pipeline. Coming Back Together (CBT) will be held on campus September 14-17. This event brings African American and Latino alumni back to campus to celebrate their accomplishments and see how Syracuse University has grown and changed over the years.
