AWARDS, APPOINTMENTS AND RECOGNITIONS:

Scott W. Klein ’79 (below), president and chief executive officer of LanguageLine Solutions, has received the Association of Language Companies 2021 William “Bill” Graeper Award. Klein is a member of the Whitman Advisory Council.

John View ’86 MBA (below) has been selected to chair the board of directors at his undergraduate alma mater, Saint Leo University. A member of the Whitman Alumni Club of CNY Board of Directors, View is a retired veteran of higher education administration, most recently serving as director of financial aid and the equal opportunity program at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

KEEPING IN TOUCH:

Brandon Reiter ‘16 graduated from Whitman with a double major in finance and entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises. During his time on campus, he was heavily involved with the entrepreneurship community at Whitman, participating in the D’Aniello Internship program and multiple student start-ups. Liz Holloway is the alumni engagement coordinator for the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. She is responsible for fostering connections between alumni and students of Whitman, as well as the promotion of programming to strengthen these relationships.She received a Master of Arts in communications from SUNY Albany and has a diverse background of facilitating customer and community engagement, managing logistics for large-scale events, and event marketing strategy development and execution.
