MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS:

Joshua Fishman ’12 and Emily (Sherrin) Fishman ’12 (right) were married on September 2 in Philadelphia. Josh and Emily met at Whitman and served as ENACTUS project leaders together.

KEEPING IN TOUCH:

Jorge Bertran ’78 was invited in 2019 for the third year in a row to lecture on Cross-Cultural Management at the ISCTE Business School Graduate Program, International Management, University of Lisbon. Currently, Bertram is a consultant in cross-cultural training and authored the book,” Key Competencies for International Managers.”

Jeffrey Fischer ’83 retired from UPS in 2018 after 25 years in senior management. Fischer is founder and CEO of TZB International Consulting, based in the greater Atlanta area, specializing in supply chain management, customer experience, and process improvement.

IN MEMORIAM:

James L. Parsons IV, of York, Pennsylvania, died on Nov. 30, 2018. He was 73.
