The Swatch Box was co-founded by Bret Butcher ’04 to address the lack of convenience and personalization when buying home décor. With The Swatch Box, you’re able to touch and feel the quality of the hand selected products in your home without any obligation to buy–all returns are free and easy.
The design process can be as collaborative as you like, or your personal stylist can use his/her judgment to select the items he/she feels will look best in your space. Each box contains six to 12 items with an average cost of $75-$200 apiece. Whether living in a five bedroom home or a studio apartment, The Swatch Box will keep your space looking fresh and interesting with a hassle-free process.
The Swatch Box raised $150,000 in an angel round and began beta testing in June. The past few months have shown that people truly love the service. It’s a natural extension of everything else that people have delivered to their home. Along with customer fanfare, media outlets have taken an interest; The Swatch Box was covered in Instyle only two months after its inception.
