ALUMNI IN THE NEWS:

Ryan Novak ’11 rose from the ranks of dishwasher to owner of the Chocolate Pizza Company. After working at the company for six years, he bought the business at the age of 21 and has led an explosive expansion with sales up 365 percent in just three years. Chocolate Pizza Company products are now sold at more than 1,200 retailers nationwide including Hallmark, Bass Pro Shops and Kinney Drugs and were featured on the Food Network’s “Unwrapped” and in Inc. Magazine. “People identify the name now and associate it with quality, taste and value,” according to Novak “and that has created the demand behind construction of our new facility.” Read more about the company’s expansion.

Stacey Tank ’02, VP of corporate communications and external affairs at The Home Depot, is described by her former co-worker at Henieken USA as having “led transformational change and helped ignite business growth for some of the most successful and well-known companies in the world. She also accomplished this while traveling the globe, dedicating time to the causes she’s most passionate about, and raising two boys.” Read more about Tank’s accomplished career in PR Week’s Power List 2015.
