Ed Katz ’81: Founder/Principal of Katnip Marketing has recently won an international Bronze Telly Award in the category of Social Video as well as a Bernays Award for Best Public Relations Campaign-Small Business.

Kelsey Davis ’20 MS, Founder and CEO of Cllctve, made Adweeks’s list of 2020 Young Influentials Shaping, Media, Marketing and Tech.      

IN THE MEDIA:

Jeff Abeson ’94, Vice President of Ryder Last Mile, was featured in BENZINGA, sharing some of the actions being taken as a reaction to recent changes to Amazon freight regulations.

Logan Bonney ’17 MS and Brittany Berry ’18 VPA (below) were featured on LocalSYR. The co-owners of Anything But Beer have partnered with Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families to boost local veteran-owned businesses and benefit members of the community who have been harshly effected by the pandemic.  

MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS:

Michael Lombardi ’03, ’12 MBA and Lisa Kelly ’03 (EDU) announce the birth of their son, Elliott Sahmyuel Kelly-Lombardi (below). He weighed 8 lb., 14 oz. Michael is a Global Consulting Partner at Ogilvy Consulting. Lisa is an attorney and real estate agent with a teaching certification in TESOL.

IN MEMORIAM:

Michael Chemotti ’38 passed away at the age of 106 on July 27.

Nina Kapur ’16 (below) passed away on July 18 following a moped accident in New York City at the age of 26. She worked as a news anchor at CBS New York, a CNN affiliate.
