Coming Back Together (CBT) Networking Luncheon at Whitman: As part of this year’s Coming Back Together weekend (September 14-17), Whitman will host a networking luncheon for our African American and Latino alumni on Friday, September 15, 12-2pm. Seating is very limited, so please register today.
Orange Central 2017 is set for October 5-7 with a host of homecoming festivities planned across the University. As part of the celebration, Whitman will host the 3rd Annual Orange Tank business pitch competition and the Annual Alumni Awards Ceremony and Reception, both on Friday, October 6. We are seeking alumni entries for Orange Tank through September 8. Uncorked at the Lubin House, September 12, 5:30 p.m., Lubin House, New York City, NY: Our Beloved 1870 Room Reopens with a Series of Networking Events. Join the Syracuse University Alumni Association and Syracuse University in NYC in bringing back the beloved social days of the Lubin House 1870 Room with our new monthly networking and happy hour series, Uncorked at Lubin House! These events will feature VIP Orange guests, along with a cash bar and complimentary snacks for all alumni, friends, and their family members. Skip the lines at local establishments and reconnect with fellow friends of SU in the historic and charming 1870 room. The Uncorked series kicks off with Emme ’85, a Body Positive Supermodel and proud member of the Orange Plus Hall of Fame for rowing. Emme will lead a conversation about body image and personal wellness before signing copies of her latest book, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Curvy & Confident (which will be available for purchase).

Want to expand your Orange network in NYC while learning how to better leverage your Syracuse University degree in the workplace? Don’t miss the new Get Connected in the City series, presented by the Syracuse University Alumni Association and Syracuse University in NYC! Marisa Ramel ’04, who serves as a Newhouse in NYC program advisor, will be our presenter on networking. Ramel, the co-founder of The Résumé Hero, helps advise and mentor students attending Newhouse in NYC.
