GroupM has appointed Chung Youngoo (Jason Chung) ’98 MBA, ’99 MS as CEO in Korea. He joins GroupM following 17 years in senior positions with online businesses in Korea, including eBay, Travelocity, TripAdvisor and most recently EF Education First. GroupM has nearly 300 employees in Korea across Mindshare, MEC, MediaCom, Maxus, M2 Digital, Xaxis and DTSI. It billed US$138 million in 2016 according to Recma. Read more.
Chad Bender ’05 has been named Senior Director of Ad Sales Strategy at NBC Universal. In this role, Bender is responsible for setting the strategy to drive revenue growth in video and branded content for a variety of entertainment and lifestyle properties including Bravo, Oxygen, E!, Universal Kids, Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and Flixster. He has held previous roles in media at Disney, Deloitte, and NBC.

KEEPING IN TOUCH:
Joseph Eppolito ’82 is in his tenth year as an adjunct professor at Whitman, fourth year as a full-time lecturer at SUNY Cortland and 27th year as a financial advisor, the last 10 of which have been with MassMutual. He is past president and treasurer for both the Whitman Alumni Club of CNY and SUNY Cortland Alumni Association and a 40-year member of Kiwanis International. He is currently president-elect of NAIFA-Syracuse.
Stewart Koenig ’85 MBA became an adjunct instructor for Syracuse University this spring. He developed and is teaching an online course for University College’s Bachelor of Professional Studies program entitled “Assertiveness in the Workplace.”
Andy Reichgut ’91 is EVP & CMO of the leading natural foods company Classic Cooking, which recently launched its new eCommerce platform, thehealthfoodstore.com. The company’s flagship brand, Garden Lites, offers natural veggie rich prepared foods that are available in the freezer aisle across the country. Despite expansion in Costco, Walmart, Kroger, Target and Canada over the past few years, consumers are still demanding more availability. The new online sales channel solves this problem and is an immediate success with sales approaching $1MM in the first year.
